- Tablet in court house in memory of Benjamin Forsyth, Revolutionary Soldier, and for whom Forsyth County was named.*
- Bronze tablet on boulder marking the home site of Col. Joseph Winston, Revolutionary hero, and the man for whom Winston was named. His home site is two miles beyond Germanton, and fourteen miles from this city.**
*Benjamin Forsyth was an officer who served heroically during the War of 1812 - not the American Revolution.
**Colonel Joseph Winston's home site is actually located in Stokes County, not Forsyth County.
